Default Do axe or sword works better in fow?

Anyone knows what works better/effective in fow. Sword or axe,i know u cant bleed them with sword,no bleed,no gash=u cant use the 2 sword skills....but which one is better and pls explain why, ty very much.

depending on the build, each has their advanages and disadvantages. its all about personal preference.

I agree with Yichi that in PvE it is all about preferences.
But my preference would be axe then

btw you can bleed most things in fow apart from the skeles of course

deathbane grip/pommel for shadow guys
skeleton grip/pommel for skeles

It doesn't matter which, neither one does much damage. Be a good warrior and bring some stances to help the monks out. Bring a good curses necro and a good mesmer along to do the real damage. "L33t echo nukers" need not apply.

hammer -> intterupting knockdown

axe -> spike damage

sword -> tanking

choose youre build!

With an IGN like mine - Just Axe Me - how could it be anything but -- Axe.

Seriously I agree with earlier poster who said sword for tanking and axe for interrupt (along with a little greater damage than sword in my opinion ... but that part is debatable).

Hammer are pure ownage all the time, can get good spikes with hammers to ..
